Anyone interested in Hyde Park Cemetery and its activities and projects may join the Friends of Hyde Park Cemetery (FoHPC). FoHPC is an association made up entirely of volunteers. It was constituted in 2003, following discussions and meetings between a number of people who share a keen interest in the cemetery.
Volunteers play a vital role in the restoration and conservation of the cemetery and are a valuable resource. If you would like to help, through becoming a member of FoHPC, then we would be delighted if you were to contact us.
The aims of the FoHPC are:
> To support the restoration and conservation of Hyde Park Cemetery, Doncaster, its monuments, buildings and wildlife, and the natural beauty of their setting, for the long term benefit of the public, and as an environmental, historical and educational amenity.
> To provide a way for the community to have a positive input into the restoration and ongoing care and management of Hyde Park Cemetery.
If you would like to make a donation towards the work of the Friends, we would be extremely grateful. Please either click on the Donate button at the foot of this page or, alternatively, send a cheque, made payable to ‘Friends of Hyde Park Cemetery’, to the address shown on our Contact Us page.
FoHPC work closely with a number of organisations that share our interest in Hyde Park Cemetery and we would like to thank them for their continued support.
